The loneliness of the streets is a killer, a real killer. You are treated like some kind of a bother, even by many that say they are there to help . A dog does not treat you like that. They even give the homeless person a reason to wake up in the morning. Some even have cats because cats will not judge you on monetary gains but by who you are.

There is one guy here in Tucson, and he has a dog. This dog is not just he dog, he treats it like his child. He will not eat till little buddy eats. The dog gets to ride in a wagon. He stays up all night just to make sure his dog is OK. The dog in turn stays next to him in te park in the daytime so he can sleep. It is an amazing relationship!

the love of a dog.
In exchange for a little kindness and fellowship they will follow you to the ends of the earth until your dying day.
It is too bad more people don't understand the depth of their sensitivity or their loyalty.
