it wasn't audible, but as the smell slowly wafted our way, people started literally running away. It really stunk

Spreads the shit all over the surface of the water. I guess that keeps them from having to eat it when they are swimming under the water.

but the folks that frequent meta aren't well known for their ability to accept comedic metaphors no matter how apt they may be.
