The "Golden Record"

Voyager 1 is a space craft shot into space 35 years ago (1977) and it's still heading
for the outer limits of our solar system.

It's about 11.3 billion miles (18.2 billion kilometers) from the sun.
It contains a "Golden Record" of messages, sounds and music for any
intelligence that might intercept it.
