Is Reddit anything?

Have peeked into the "Front" and "Politics" sections and it looks like sort of O.K., sort of inoffensive to the point of maybe bland, and the politics not blatantly wingnut.

I've been exclusively DU, with 5-minutes departures into Gawker gossip and the old gossipers Page Six and the-oldest-person-named"Cindy&quot ADAMS).

What are the ups, downs, or nevers of Reddit? Btw, any of my nemesi out there wishfully thinking I will be RID OF at DU, HAH!1

If you don't go to the sleazy pages it can be pretty good. The political stuff is liberal. mucifer Oct 2012 #2

There are so many subreddits that you can find niches that are good.

I am 47 yo and it does make me feel old. Most off the posts seem to be from 20 somethings. I feel like I relate to people more at DU. So I am here much more.

At reddit I only lurk and mostly at the political page or the Chicago page.
