2. Yeah, it definitely fell into the Uncanny Valley.

I tried to match skin colors, but the lighting of Romney's psycho-debating face was completely different from Vreenak's "It's a fake!" face, and my photochop-fu wasn't strong enough to fix that.

I believe Crispin Glovers character 'Thin Man' in Charlie's Angels 'Full Throttle' has a creepy resemblence to Paul Ryan. While I agree that Ryan indeed resembles Eddie Munster as well, perhaps you could photoshop a split screen of the two.
