She loved the smell and 'being in the clouds'.
Happily she seems to have no adverse effects from it.

It made its rounds once or twice each summer in the '60s. I don't know why now, but the smell was somehow attractive to a lot of us kids.

Minnows eat a hell of a lot of mosquito larva in a single day. The Asian Tiger mosquitoes pretty much took over this year and they can breed in a soda cap filled with water. On the plus side, so far they haven't been found to carry West Nile - give it a few years.

And, anytime we discuss mosquitoes...

I grew up on the south side of Chicago. I only remember them spraying twice. They came through at 3am. There was some bug that was chewing the hell of of trees and killing them.
