(55,025 posts)not toxic, just generic hot. I did the same amount of milds on Saturday - they had good flavor and aroma but no heat at all - probably use those for gifts. LOL
these "hot" are just spicy, not dangerous

(55,025 posts)weird, I wrote that my favorite thing to do with these is mix them with fried potatoes and onions and some crumbled bacon for breakfast.

(55,025 posts)I would go buy some new, you don't even want to think about what they did with it.

(55,025 posts)these weren't that hot but I swear the hotest peper I ever ate was just a green (anahiem) OMG anatomy of digestive tract lesson. I knew every inch of that bastard's trip through my system.

(55,025 posts)and mesquite grilled beef! fuck those flowery perfume things
I am not a big fan of the flowery perfune things, either. At least with the cinnamon-scented ones, I pretend they're churros.

Kali
(55,025 posts)even easier if they sit in a plastic bag for a while. If they don't come off they haven't been roasted hot or long enough. we eat them raw too in salsa and in that case I don't bother peeling them
note: these were roasted by a vender in a big rotating drum over a propane flame so they also get tumbled and tossed around quite a bit )a lot of the peel is already off before I start working on them)
when we roast a few on the bbq we just peel and eat right there - yum

(20,453 posts)My roasting technique lacks!
My eating technique would make up for it, though...
