Strangest thing happened. My bathtub tap was leaking quite a bit. Made my

1 bedroom apartment really humid. I ended up with mold growing on all the windows as water condensed on the window panes and sills. Has this ever happened to you?

Wow. That makes sense. I should have got on it earlier. Live and learn. Thanks. applegrove Oct 2012 #7

There should be a mixing ratio for mould an mildew on the bottle.

And think about keeping a window cracked for ventilation.

off without any effort. On to the next window. I was surprised that a bathtub drip could be vapourized - but I guess if the drip is substantial and runs 24/7 it adds up.

If you have individual droplets just sitting there, what are they going to do but evaporate to recondense on that nice chilly windowpane.

5 drops to the ml (more or less), so one drip a second is a little over 17 litres a day.

It's somewhat common for widows to be less active than other women, but they shouldn't be so inactive that they start to grow mold. Also a one bedroom place sounds small for a whole group of them to be staying there. Have you asked if they have anywhere else they can go?

the faucet, I found it was jammed by a piece of wood.

There is wood in our water supply.

I assume it was a bit of a root that invaded the pipe.
