(149,620 posts)They have good stuff!
Last summer, my husband and I traveled to Iceland, and we bought a lot of cold weather stuff from REI......our things really performed very well. Our waterproof clothes and shoe covers kept us dry!
Enjoy your snowshoes!

Good stuff, though.

(6,581 posts)I'm covered either way. If it is like last winter with almost no snow, I will just ride all winter.

(30,947 posts)before I made a trip to Colorado in the winter. I have not worn them since then. I live in North Grorgia where we get snow maybe once a year and it does not stick around for long. Glad I shopped at Goodwill.

(6,581 posts)Here, during the colder winters, we can have consistent snow cover on the ground for up to 3 months, and patchy, on off snow for anothe 4-6 weeks at either end of the season.
