(60,010 posts)Tarantino is usually pretty watchable.
Watched the trailer, as usual they don't get the Southern accents down right.
Which, admittedy, is difficult to do, since there is not just ONE Southern accent in the South.

(111 posts)He's my favorite director and I can't wait to see this masterpiece.
It might replace "Kill Bill" and "Inglourious Basterds" at the top of my list of his best of the best.

(20,453 posts)I never did see Inglorious Bastards (was that the right spelling?)

(111 posts)...rush right down to your Redbox and get "Inglourious Basterds" -- Christoph Waltz won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Colonel Landa. The film won numerous other awards, too, and was absolutely riveting!
And here's why the title is spelled that way (from Wikipedia):
When asked for an explanation of the film's title spelling during a news conference at the Cannes Film Festival, Tarantino said, "I'm never going to explain that". When pushed on it, Tarantino would not explain the first u in Inglourious, but said, "The Basterds? That's just the way you say it: Basterds." Tarantino later stated in an interview that the misspelled title is "a Basquiat-esque touch."
