The survival of much of humanity requires civil leaders. It requires those who seek peace and not create wars for profit. This world needs to care for it's flock and not cover a percentage while telling the rest "flock you". We have a country that is capable to feed its' own but we don't. We are capable of housing same but again we don't unless you include pick ups and viaducts. We should be able to provide medical care for all without strings attached. Jobs could be provided if Congress would stop sitting on their hands and allow companies to ship all their work overseas.
While most will listen to the debates to see what they will say it's what they don't say that could be most important. Any idiot could say "I will slash the deficit" but only a smart man will give you a blueprint of how it should be done.
It is an emotional time for all. Words involving Medicare,Medicaid,Social Security etc can cause many to get nervous. It's a matter of survival...I hope we survive this election with Obama/Biden as victors.

I come here for relief from the politics, and I don't think this belongs in the lounge. Sorry, JMHO.
