Seriously, I found the absolutely BEST volunteer job EVER!!!
A friend told me about it at another place where I volunteer.
We have a small concert venue here in Wilmington. The venue hosts all kinds of events from Opera, Ballet, Comedy and even Rock Concerts.
The entire usher staff is volunteer and I managed to get on the staff this year.
I mean how cool is it that as a volunteer where I help people find their seats and other usher type jobs that afterwards I get to see a great concert. Last night was Los Lonely Boys. This weekend I have the Ballet.
I have to think there are venues like this in other large cities that rely on volunteers to run their events. So if you love live music like I do you should check it out!
