I just registered to vote on-line!

Yeah!!!! Now I feel more like a citizen here in Arizona! I have a Arizona ID, a residence, and now I can vote here too! All I need now is a job and I'll really feel like my old self!

1. We won the voter ID fight in PA (at least for this election). It's a stupid concept, BUT...

... I did hear one valid argument for it - just one. Many schools have abandoned teaching cursive. That's how you develop your signature. It is feasible that a generation from now kids will only know how to print their names - no signatures. That would make it hard to validate poll registration books. That's the only valid argument I've heard.

2. I remember how good it felt to get my voting privileges for the first time

It really does make you feel patriotic. I always feel great after I vote.

3. For me it is just another step to having a life again.

After one losses everything, things like IDs and being able to vote becomes like valuable items that means everything. Having a address is the holy grail. I hope no one ever has to find out how much these things mean because of the pain that comes with the loss.
