You're much closer with 1/64 (my fraction is lost in the noise), but my mom, me, and my youngest daughter all show the traits - primarily round faces and a propensity to change race with minimal exposure to the sun. My elder two daughters show no such attributes. Genetics is a complicated thing.

Who knows what all else - some German, some French (Heugonots) most recently a lot of Scotts-Irish, possibly some Kenyan (every good Democrat has some Kenyan LOL)

At one time I was researching my family tree but never managed to get back too far, and never found a Cherokee connection.

It may be the truth or may not. I did enjoy the research though!

How far back did you have to go?
