15. There are two times a year

when I really appreciate the climate here in the Seattle area: one, when it's blistering hot in other parts of the country and two, when it's freezing cold in other parts. I don't even mind the rain here -- it means I don't have to pay for water to water the yard.

17. I love the climate up here. I grew up in an area with lots of rain, but sweltering heat.

Love the change of the seasons, the turning of the leaves, which I didn't have growing up. Just love it and the Douglas fir trees and all the rest of them.

Was in the 20's & 30's the last couple of days. I got sleeted on for a few minutes yesterday, didn't amount to much. Southeastern Iowa here.

68 degrees at 10 p.m. Very pleasant today. Humidity not bad, pretty low in fact. Kind of breezy. No numbers, just going by how it was when I sat out on the patio drinking coffee at 5 p.m. Highs ranging from high 70s to mid-80s. Hope we'll get down into the 50s soon.

We do get cold here but it will be much later (January & February) and for those in Michigan and Wisconsin (and other really cold places), you will laugh at what we call "cold". That's when it gets to be 22 or so. The good thing here is that it will be that way for a day or two and then go back to the 30s and 40s. Maybe even 50s!

with my Orthopedic Surgeon. Year check up after knee replacement. I had to wear shorts to the appointment. Thank God for heated car seats.
