8. Is it just me, or has Big Lots lost a lot of its former glory?

Before the company went public, they had some really great deals on good quality stuff. The tools they carried a decade ago were terrific (so says husband).

Now it seems like they slap their name on a lot of plastic sh*t from China.

One of the women who works there says they're not great to her in terms of hours...

But - they are the only local store that sells Bob's Red Mill products, a favorite of mine

The prices on their cat food are higher than what I can find at our rather pricey grocery store.
