Letter to my wife from one of her former students

She has been having health problems - extreme fibromyalgia, migraines, et al. - and has been thinking of getting out of teaching.
(She teaches govt in community college) and one of her former students w/ whom she stays in contact sent her this message:

He told her that a lot of students would be missing a great teacher ...

That's from the heart Melodie. You're a great professor. I learned so much from your classes. And I'll be the first to admit that I should have known my government a long time ago but I was negligent. Something from one of your classes makes me think with a new perspective every single day. Sometimes it's going through a construction zone and thinking about Rick Perry, his cohorts in the construction business, and laid off teachers. Sometimes it's election stuff. Sometimes just watching the news. But every single day your class makes me think.

I am extremely proud of her
