I just recorded the album "George Thorogood And The Destroyers," it has one good song on it, "One Bourbon, One Shot, One Beer."
The rest is George Thorogood trying to do Blues. And failing miserably.

(12,132 posts)Led Zep flops? I guess that's why all those blues musicians got together to do an album of Led Zep songs..to show them how it's done...

(28,552 posts)... George Thorogood is lame. there are plenty of white folks who do quite good blues. Stevie Ray Vaughn and ZZ Top come to mind.

(46,340 posts)I'm not a big fan of the Blues in the first place, and a lot of rock stars trying to do Blues just sound bad.

(18,101 posts)They play what they love. I don't care what color the artists are, but as this thread shows, there are plenty of white guys who can do blues.
