Report: Florida DUI suspect blames squirrel in shirt
A North Florida man pulled over for driving erratically told a deputy that a squirrel in his shirt was eating him, news4jax.com is reporting.
Clay County deputies said Warren Michael III had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot and glassy eyes when he produced his pet squirrel for the deputy after he was pulled over on U.S. Highway 17 on Saturday.
"I had the defendant secure the squirrel and then exit the vehicle," the deputy wrote in a report.
