What do you miss most when you are away from home?

For me, besides our 4 cats, I miss our main bath room. Hotel showers don't always have good water pressure, and hotel hair dryers are often small and wimpy.

Get a good night's sleep there. Not so much in hotels.

3. Just got back from a week away

I missed my cat Wolfie sleeping on my pillow. However, my itchy eyes went away for the week. Hmm...

4. Down time and alone time. I love travel but it tends to be social and very busy.

I get antsy if I don't have two or three quiet hours on my own in a day.

Also, my mattress. Best I've ever had.

6. My cats, my own bed and my stuff.

Now that I'm old I don't really enjoy traveling that much. I like being home where everything I need is at hand and I can relax.

7. Aside from family, including our three cats

I miss home cooking. I’m a decent cook in my own right, but if I’m away from home, I’m not motivated cook just for myself. Sometimes, however, I I’ll get ingredients for making something good if the hotel room has a stove.
