She came around for quite a while. I believe that the motherfucking god damned never-ending encroachment of "development" has driven foxes out of the area. Motherfuckers.

They eat better and more easily in populated areas. Around here you won't ever see them in the fields or the woods but on the streets and in the garbage cans the night before trash pick-up days when everyone puts their trash curbside for pick-up in the morning. We even have a local ordinance that trash has to be in barrels rather than in plastic bags set out for pick-up because the foxes get into them and make a mess. They're really good at getting into the trash barrels though, but at least the mess stays in the barrels and not all over the streets. And we're inundated with bunnies here that people had hoped the foxes would thin out... but they don't bother with hunting the bunnies preferring the easy pickings from the trash barrels. The bunnies don't even bother with being afraid of the foxes either (I guess they've long since known the foxes just can't be arsed to hunt them).
