We're going to see the President tomorrow!

We're both excited. My sort of foster daughter, 8, will be coming with me to the rally in Columbus tomorrow afternoon. I know the park he'll speak at is kind of smallish. The gates open at 2, so I'm thinking 11:30 for the lineup, so we can get close enough to see. The camera is charging. We're the ones who are building, trying to raise the next generation of Democratic women. I am so excited any advice about taking kids to a political rally gratefully valued.

All the one's I've been to were extremely crowded, so you might want to figure out how you can get the little one some height, otherwise the best view she'll have is the butts of those in front of you. I always would put my kids on my shoulders until they were tall enough, but this may not be an option for you. If you are close enough to the front, you may be able to let her move up a bit to get a better view. Most people are pretty accommodating for kids.
