Not very cold right now. Unseasonably warm weather is messing with winter recreation due to little snow.

Bison love standing around. My neighbor had one and it stood around in the wind and snow, often getting drifted in. He did not like rain, and would hide in his little shed when it rained. I think the bison in the photo got frosted by standing near a hot spring, where the water vapor Condenses and freezes on anything that doesn't move. Like bison. Beautiful photo.

There are lots of bison there, as well as lots of hot springs!

17. Have you been to Yellowstone. The bison are beautiful. If you ever get a chance Niagara--two places to go Yellowstone

and the Grand Canyons. It will take your breath away. We went on a tour and visited all the National Parks from Canada to Mexico. The Bison are all over in Yellowstone and traffic is at a standstill until the herd crosses the road. We were in awe of them.

So far, the farthest I've been in the west has been Sioux City, Iowa.



Yellowstone National Park and "the badlands" are definitely on my bucket list.
