(30,994 posts)Never had this before and as far as I know I have no allergy to poison Ivy....I bicycle in it all the time and have never broken out.

(20,776 posts)and never was lucky enough to have any of it, however I think whats worse, at least to me is having Hives. It can last up to two or three months, and the only thing you can do is take Benedryl (Diphenhydramine) and hope you can figure out what foods you are allergic too. Its horrible.

It is all over our damn yard and my dad won't go out there and pull it up or kill it in any way shape or form he just lets it grow then makes me go out and mow the yard every time. I swear it is child abuse! I actually have some right now on my legs and arms and hands.
