I love the chitters and squeals from the baby though. I used to know a bunch of fostered wild cat babies and this really took me back. I had a friend who fostered tiger babies and her Bassett Hound served as surrogate mom (not feeding, just loving on) to the little ones, but man, that old girl's ears were always in tatters from too much tiger baby loving!

Adult cheetahs are very nervous jumpy animals, especially around people.
If a cheetah has a dog buddy with them telling them that people are okay they are much calmer.
(I imagine you wouldn't want to make a dog that had an adult cheetah as a friend angry...)
