Someone posted a tweet to the effect: "This new Frankenstein movie sucks because it's all woke and stuff. It makes out that the creature is the victim, and the doctor is the real monster."
Someone replied, with the kind of weary, suffering patience you need with people this stupid: "That was the entire point of the story!."

(4,858 posts)...I mean, Lon Chaney Jr is the unlikeliest "Englishman" in cinema history. The fact that none other than Claude Rains is his father--a duke, no less--is exquisite. Bela Lugosi as a Gypsy. There was always something sad about Chaney, Jr, and that's very noticeable in this film...
