8 beers Americans no longer drink

I am personally heartbroken by the inclusion of Old Milwaukee on this sad list.

All of them :> Brewer: Anheuser-Busch InBev > Brewer: MillerCoors Brewing

if I throw cares to the wind, I'd rather go with a Fat Tire or other New Belgium Brewery offering-- or an occasional Corona with lime.

If I get those, I have enough variety for the beer drinkers.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, though.

I never drank it; it disappeared before I hit 21. But my Dad took me and my brother on a tour of the brewery when I was 14 or so. I got to drink pure artesian water from Oly brewery's shiny copper water fountain.

And I miss the TV commercials about the mysterious "artesians".

It's not being made in Tumwater, but it is still being made.

In case you're wondering, the pure Artesian water from the Olympia Brewery's shiny copper water fountain has just as much beery goodness to it as the yellow stuff in the cans does.

The world is a better place because they are in it.

I'd love to get ahold of some of their barrel aged brews. In the meantime I can get Old Rasputin here in Florida and that will hold me over until I find some OR barrel aged...

PBR's current fame is a cultural mystery. Like tattoos, body-shaving, and piercings.

Did porn stars drink PBR?

The expensive NA beers are all too fruity or musky.

MGD is one of the few canned beers that actually tastes good (well, of the mass-produced mega-breweries). I mostly just stick with Yuengling for real beer. I've found a lot of good microbeers, but Yuengling is the best basic draft everyone carries around here. You can walk into ANY bar and say "I'll have a Lager" and that's what they'll pour.

A friend just brought me a nice sampling of New Glarus beers. Mighty fine drinking there and Moon Man is an exceptional lager. I even like the wheat beer (Dancing Man) and I usually don't care for those. I think I will pop the bottle of barley wine tonight.
