Calling Lynnesin...Calling Lynnesin...F'Chrissake put up a Trueblood thread!!

I haven't seen one for a couple of weeks and I'm totally flipped out by Vampmageddon, and Russell and the faeries, and Pam and Tara, and the whole nest thing, and Lilith, and...damn!

1. Not a good day to be a baby Vamp.

Lynnesin was right about Tara and Pam. It is possible that Tara has a sexual attraction to Pam, but, honestly, I would be fine with just a mother and daughter relationship.

I'm thinking the only person that's going to be able to kill Russell is M. Warlow. Russell found the faes and M. Warlow was coming for Sookie, so.....

7. Didn't Russell drink the blood of the crazy faerie?

I wonder if her blood is just a bit off? Or, maybe, contained something that would prove lethal to him and also made her crazy?

On the other hand Pam's "Totally. Maybe later we can braid each others' hair and talk about boys… Fucking baby vamps." was great.

In fact it had been a couple weeks since we had loud grunting sex with a vampire. I guess that's why they had that totally boring sex scene with Eric and Nora. I hope she's gets staked in next week's bloodbath. Eric is better with Sookie or at least back with Pam.

She looks like an eighth grade mean girl. And sorry; I have been checking in by phone while on vacation and missed a lot. Now that I'm back I can obsess.

Pam is my hero. She, Tara and Jessica can be the vampire version of Charlie's Heroes.

I think that they have jumped the shark on the show as a whole. I just don't care for the whole Sanguanista story line and they can't kill off Russell and whats his name fast enough for me. I also don't care for them implying that Alcid and his father are trailer trash types because they weren't in the books. I'll probably watch the season finale and then say good bye to the show.

12. I think the show peaked at Season #3, which has always been the best season for me

But you can't go with 'that's not how it happened in the book' because honestly, that means that Lafayette would have been dead at the end of season #1. The books were merely a guideline.

Personally I would love it if Russell and Steve survived this season - they are an amazing couple. But they can off the rest of the Sanguista (which I guess it's just Salome, Nora and Rosalind left).

whole Sanguanista stuff. I realize that you cannot compare the series to the books and do agree that the series has peeked and is on the downside.

What I like about the series:
1. Tara finally became an interesting character this season.
2. Jessica - I have like watching her grow and mature as a vampire to the point that she really has surpassed Bill, her maker.
3. The interaction between Pam, Tara and Jessica when Jessica is there.
4. I liked the witch story line last year.
5. Lafayette - He has become a much more interesting character over time
6. I like the way they have worked to make Jason more mature.

What I hate about the series:
1. Bill - I wish they would just off him. He is just not that intelligent or interesting a character
2. Arlene - Too whiny and I liked what they did with her in the books better
3. Andy Bellfluer being pictured as kind of an oaf.
4. Portraying Alcide and his Dad as trailer park trash. Portraying members of the wolf pack and panthers as trash. While the book is a guide of where to start the series, I hate that they lump the the wolf and panther shifts as trash. I would rather have seen them portrayed as part of a broad spectrum of characteristics, i.e. some successful, some maybe in the military, and some trashy.
The series has relied too much on sterotyping.

14. I will say this much - I was offended by the use of the slut word last night

When the Faery elder said how 'Sookie sluts herself out to any guy with fangs'.

Sookie has had exactly 2 lovers on the show (and almost a 3rd). In fact she didn't lose her virginity until she was like 23-25 years old (not sure how old Sookie is on the show but she's mid-twenties). Never once has she cheated on any of her boyfriends and her almost 3rd lover was Alcide, who happens to be a werewolf.

Since the show started I've lost count of how many people Jason has slepted with. Bill, since the show started, has had at least 5 lovers (Sookie, Lorena, the witch spy, Portia Bellefluer and Salome). And I'm not sure how many Eric has had but I'm sure he had alot of willing female patrons from the bar, staff members like Yvetta, his vamp sister Nora, Pam (although that was over 100 years ago), Sookie, Salome and Talbot (did he kill Talbot before or after the sex started? No clue).

So I would hardly call Sookie a slut.
