Just watching some jitter-buggin on TMC...

Man them hep cats would be right at home in a moss pit or a slam dance...

The only difference is they had style and grace.

But if you look at it, the dance was just this side of out of control.

A jitter bug dance number in The Wizard of Oz was cut from the final film because the movie was running too long. I've seen surviving snippets of it from cast members home movies. It would be interesting to see what they did with what was the dance rage of it's time.
