Just when I thought the "Jesus holding the Constitution" painting was asinine, I see this:

oh and I also thought it was a severed elf head...now I'm kinda sad it isn't.
but maybe it was painted so it could be either...

(6,452 posts)Who the hell would pay $50 for a picture of Jesus cuddling with Santa next to a severed elf's head?
pinboy3niner
(53,339 posts)...for that price, it has to be the original.

(58,721 posts)look at the trim on Santa's coat. It matches the color on the hat.
It only looks like a severed elf's head.
So the question is: Was that intentional by the artist? Hmmmmm..........
But you're right, it does set the bar low for use of inappropriate cliches in one picture. From WASP Jesus to 9/11 and beyond.

(1,353 posts)This is SO bad, it's brilliant. I'd have it in my house just for the LULZ. I'd pay up to and including a dollar.
Waspy Jesus has tiny lil hands. Santa has huge ones. Wonder what that means, eh?
Eksess
(18 posts)The painting only depicts 1 of Jesus' hands. His left hand seems to have disappeared into Santa's clothing.
Just what the hell is going on there?!?!?

Figurines of Santa praying next to Baby Jesus.
Popular (not Biblically accurate) pictures and figurines of angels.
Again, popular but not Biblically accurate versions the Nativity.
"Virgin Mary" found on burnt toast, knotholes of trees, water stains under bridges, etc.

(3,173 posts)Guaranteed not to have been altered in any way. Here is Jesus as he appeared in my friend's doorway last August. The "picture" is the result of light shining through the leaves and appears to be asking the observer to bet number 462 in the state lottery. That number did indeed come out just after the photo was taken.

(12,160 posts)of the angel statue, and Santa's gloves on the right. I'm sure about the cap because the fur trim on the cap matches the fur trim on his sleeves.
That is the most ridiculous piece of "art" I have ever laid eyes on.
