Lounge friends, a help request. RE my desire to write fiction for fun.
Floating a trial balloon here, and I need your help. I posted the other day that I would like to get into hobby fiction writing, short stories and ultimately a novel.
I asked for some suggestions on that thread, and got some good ones.
I have now posted a thread in the Writing Forum with some excepts from a 15 page short story I wrote yesterday, and I would like comments about them. I am trying to find out if anyone sees "something" in me that says "he can write." But I want the honest truth, if I'm just the equivalent of some 'American Idol Blooper Real' contestant that can't sing a note, please tell me.
