1. Southern Cross reminds me of my grandmother. She had a friend who went to Australia

from Nova Scotia in the early 20th century. She sent my grandmother a broach of the Southern Cross. I think it was likely the start of my grandmother's broach collection.

3. This is one of my top ten favorite top-40 songs from the 80s.

It didn't even chart that high, which is a shame. Wasted on the Way charted higher but I think this song blows that one away.
