Actually, we have some nice heirlooms in the garden. I don't know what kind they are.

Not that they are a little tired of tomatoes, but they plan to make them Stewed today.

The plant was just labeled "various heirlooms". It's doing well, so we'll just have to see. That a porch tomato and a Celebrity are the only veggies I bought this year. Everything else we grew from seeds (and I do count seed potatoes in that). Almost everything germinated so we've got plants EVERYWHERE. The garden's almost full (except for the beets the bunny ate - more started, and the onion bed my youngest just harvested and reseeded). We didn't put up a pool this year so that area has become a potted veggie wonderland. Very few pests this year, but a squash borer did take out one of the acorn plants (had to cut the fruit before it was full size, but it's ripe).
