The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI am watching Route 66 the old tv show, what a cool show.
I don't remember the show, a little to young to have really liked it.
Was the show really popular, I do like the plots on the show.
The guys are nice to look at.
It is on MeTV, not on cable.

I like the scenery, most of that is gone now.
Good show.

(7,492 posts)Good actor and always seems genuine.
There is a bit of the old 66 still in Arizona. West of Flagstaff, north of I-40, west to Kingman. Just two lane blacktop heading into the sunset.

(26,117 posts)I watched it in reruns on Nick at Night during college in the 80s. I loved the clothes and the music. You'll probably see lots of famous stars before they were famous - Barbara Eden, Martin Sheen, Suzanne Pleshette, etc.

(18,705 posts)The guys just drove around and had jobs for a short time.
I don't know if you could do that now.
I have watched about 8 episodes so far, lots of soon to famous actors.

MeTV is GREAT...Sunday mornings I always watch Honey West and Laurel & Hardy.

at that time, or if television was better then.
This episode in particular sticks with me:
