'cause I never played none at home.

Thanks. In a few short years Jimmy was a top session guitarist. You can tell he's having fun.

I just wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss. I remember you from a few years back in the weight loss group. You and I have gone different directions and are now in the same place. I tip the scale at about 300 now days. Weight loss is going to be my next project, though. I quit smoking a couple of weeks ago. I decided that was the most dangerous thing to my health and took it on first.

Things have been enormously stressful for my wife and I lately, so I've been on a plateau and keep bouncing up and down between 305 and 311. Stress overeating even something as relatively harmless as oatmeal or split pea soup can put a stop to weight loss. But the important thing is that it's pretty much impossible to gain weight rapidly -- or even at all, honestly -- if you eat the McDougall way.

You can and will get to your weight goal, and I do believe you were right in trying to quit smoking first. Keep at it!

and now she is looking at the MacDougal plan. She thinks she'd like it, I think I'd have a hard time with it. But 200 pounds, man, it's hard to argue with that. Keep up the good work and we'll be watching you on youtube.

It's not that I mean to let my personal crap overspill into the channel, but more like I don't have anywhere else to vent.

But I do expect things will get better for us in the next year or so. Wife and I are leaving Vegas for either Portland, OR or Pensacola, FL to help M-I-L with her expenses. A change of environment will do wonders for us.

But as for the McDougall plan, keep an open mind! Many of the recipes are so tasty that you will begin to not miss the meat, dairy and eggs within just a few days. I shit you not!
