We're fortunate enough to be able to go with another option, and to be honest I kind of expected th to turn me down anyway.

4. Basically, it's a loan for whatever you might need

They can either put it right into an existing checking account or else open a new account with the loaned amount. In the latter case, they issue a Visa debit card so that you can draw against it like any other account.

It's only for members of the credit union, of course. I've used them for a car loan in the past, but this was the first time I'd tried for a PSL.
