(28,394 posts)I found the idea of wearing "dress shoes" so traumatizing that I refuse to ever wear a dress again.
I used to have some of those long flow-y dresses, but I gave them to the thrift shop years ago.

(31,521 posts)They celebrated their fifth anniversary this month. I wonder what I've done with that thing. Anymore, my idea of "dress shoes" is anything other than flip flops. If I had to attend a function where I really needed to dress up, I'd have to go buy something.

(149,651 posts)But my clothes are quite simple. In the summer, culottes (divided skirt). In the winter, or cool/cold weather, long pants. Year-round, polo shirts, and in cold weather, turtle-neck shirts.
It does make dressing fast and basically uncomplicated.
