"At the end of the day"

By the end of the day I must have heard this phrase 1000 times.

1. "At the end of the day" I am tempted to punch people who overuse that phrase.

is that just me?

4. I feel the same way.

But whats weird is how many different people are saying it all of a sudden. Like its the latest thing. I sat through 2 meetings with completely different groups of people and I heard it throughout both meetings.

Is this the new company slogan or something?

Trick question - it's always both, just not in the same place.

5. I hate the phrase - I prefer:

"When you boil it all down to gravy..."

6. I hate it because it's become SO cliched, it makes it hard to reference the actual "end of a day".
