Domestic abuse situation

I'm going to talk to a friend to try and help them get out of it. Sorry for not giving more details, but any advice would be appreciated.

I know from firsthand experience. While you wish you could just pick them up and remove them from the situation they have to finally get to the point where they realize they need to get out themselves. All I know that I can do is make sure that my friend knows that I'm always there for her no matter what happens.
