Uncle Lionel Passes...another good man done gone.

If you know and love New Orleans at all you can't help but having seen Uncle Lionel Batiste. He played bass drum with the Treme Brass Bans since God was a pup, and was one of the most alive people on the face of the earth. Now I'm not a believer but I do believe that you send somebody off in the way they would want, so I'll just say that this past weekend Uncle Lionel went home. Here's him, and here's Pearl Jam featuring him (and the pain of Katrina's losses, and loss all around).
