Standoff suspect wanted pizza and Paris Hilton



A North Carolina man barricaded himself in a hotel room and refused to come out unless he got pizza -- and Paris Hilton.

Fredrick Denney, 61, threatened to open fire on police while he was locked in his Hampton Inn room in Belmont, N.C., this past weekend, Charlotte TV station WCNC reported.

He had two demands -- a pizza and a marriage proposal from Hilton, according to police.

Several law enforcement agencies responded, closing off the second floor of the hotel as they tried to negotiate with Denney. Eventually, he was subdued with pepper spray and arrested, Charlotte TV station WSOC reported.
