Sure, they aren't as creamy as the orange creamsicles, I'll bet, but they are a great substitute for freezer treats, especially when they're big and ripe, though it's hard to tell through the bags.

The stores are ubiquitous here... though the stores with this flavor in "sugar-free" are sadly few
and far between.

applegrove, I saw your spelling of "favourite" and was reminded that you're Canadian. I find that
every now and then, I have to delete the "u" from a word like "colour"... and I seriously wonder
whether I was English or Canadian in a previous life.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It is just ground peanuts. OMG, is it heavenly. I have been eating it on mini-rice cakes. Great gluten-free snack!

a sugar-free mango Slurpee using Splenda.

Not that mango-y to me, but not bad on a hot day. 24oz is 60 calories and 24 carbs.

(And a local Magic Fountain has fat-free/sugar free frozen yogurt-- no nutritional details available)

They use fried eggplant as the wrap and fill it with a cheese and spinach mixture. It's served with spaghetti, a salad, and a roll for $8.50. The last time we had it, my wife and I ate part at the restaurant, brought the rest home, and it fed three other people there. It's a "special", so it is hit or miss on finding it but I've encouraged the owner to make it a regular item. That and the mushroom ravioli (which is made on site).

I'm thinking both might have a few more than 60 calories.
