And no, I'm not planning to turn in on anything more than a temporary basis anytime soon (I hope).
But you never know.
To be serious for a moment...
Like you, MFM, most of us at our age have been through our own health issues.
Hell, I've long felt that I'm only still here on sufferance.
But the way I look at it is that I've had my time in the sun. I'm not anxious to shuffle off this mortal coil, but whenever that may happen, I'll rest content.
God, the times we have lived through! The movements! The music! I think we lived the Chinese 'curse.' And what a long, strange trip it's been...
When I go, I hope that my friends will celebrate, and sing, and dance. And rejoice that I lived in such interesting times that we shared.
In my life, I had it all, and I have no regrets, no complaints. My time from here on is all gravy.
And my life has been enriched by MFM.
