If he just let the cat into the room to sleep on the bed, as it obviously wants to. When I first got my Bombay, I knew very little about cats, just figured she'd come around when she was hungry then leave me alone for the rest of the time. Hah! She insisted on getting in bed and cuddling every night...after spending all day sleeping in our laps. I learned Kitty Rule #1 very quickly: Cats do whatever they want, we give into their every whim.

My brother's cat liked to make a giant leap onto my brother's bed every morning, aiming for his groin--claws out.

That cat was a damn effective alarm clock!
