I just finished throwing a political fundraiser. Ask me anything please! I need to de-stress!
I've been a nervous wreck all week worrying about pulling this event off. I was tasked with doing this with little time and little support from the campaign or the local committees; everyone is out petitioning at this time.
And it was such a beautiful day some of the guests had to cancel so that they could enjoy the great outdoors. Who could blame them?
In the end we made about $600.oo and several undecided voters got to meet our candidate.
We have an uphill battle to win our race, but might be able to be pulled into office on Obama's coattails.
We have a hard working candidate and a strong team up against an old but popular incumbent.
So that is the skinny. My event was a success. Ask me anything.
