We leave a legacy by loving.

I was thinking of my friend Suzanne who was killed in an accident late last year. My friends are creating a memorial garden for her at our school.

I was thinking of Suzanne's garden and thinking of how the Tiger Lilies in my own yard make me think of her - and why. Why do we think of Zanny now when we think of plants and flowers? It's because she loved them. And her love, the time she spent in her life, loving, made something as wondrous as a garden even more beautiful, even more meaningful.

If you remember someone in your life for something that they loved and you want to share, please share.

I lost my sister 8 months ago. Everything reminds me of her. She loved animals the most. She had two dogs, two cats, and an aquarium. All were taken in by people she worked with. God bless those kind folks.

She loved holidays... we celebrated them for her. Right now we would be planning a July 4th get-together. I've lost all interest in the holidays since she is gone.
I think of her all the time and just can't get over missing her.

Thanks for the opportunity to talk about her a little. She was also a wonderful musician.

piano, flute, and piccolo. She played in an ensemble in college and sometimes in coffee houses after graduation. Thanks for asking, rbnyc.

My older sister and I used to sing “White Coral Bells” together as a round when we were very little. We sang it together as we grew older too, and when we were adults and living apart, every now and then we sang it together over the phone.

She died last year. On her birthday a few weeks ago I made this recording as a tribute to her. I miss her a lot, but the song is full of happy memories.

The mp3 is clearer than the sample and takes only 3 seconds to download, but it doesn’t really matter, since I'm not such a hot singer anyway.
