The sign in the grocery store said they were having a coin shortage, and invited customers to bring in their spare change. So I went home and grabbed my coffee can full of 10 years worth of loose change and went home with $389 of folding money. I was wondering how I was going to unload all the change.
Problem solved.

Thanks for reminding me. I've got a couple of coffee cans full sitting around here.

Nickles and pennies have a higher volume to value ratio.

It's probably about $7.
So have you got some plans for the $? Please don't say you'll just pay a bill!

I kept about $50 in quarters for my own use. They have one of those coin counter machines. I usually haul a sack in once a year or so.
