they make me smile... I have a little self-serve stand out by the road... I never see the people that stop but they leave me all sorts of notes... I have honey, all small batch handcrafted hemp salve, muscle rub, candles, lip balm, insect repellent, baked goods (most stop for my cinnamon rolls) most is by donation, just a couple of the things priced
today I got this one along with a new bottle of cinnamon... it made me happy not sure why, just fun
the best cinnamon rolls in the world (or so one customer writes!)...

(3,614 posts)Being stuck at home, where my 79 year old mom (who lives with me) has not left the house since March... She has been finding different ways to pass the day. And so, she has been cooking a lot!
She made Cinnamon rolls recently, and Bear claws (all from scratch).
I got her a sourdough starter and she has made some terrific sour dough loafs.
I bought her some ceramic bread pans and now she is making sandwich bread too.
For my birthday she baked me a cake (White cake with Coffee icing - from scratch) and made homemade Rocky Road ice cream, oh, and her famous Southern Fried Chicken for dinner with all the fixings. A great big feast for two.
She is spoiling me.
I /was/ on a no-carb diet. Past tense. I've probably gained 20-30 lbs!!!
What to do?
Could YOU turn down homemade Cinnamon rolls?
I do have to say though, your cinnamon rolls actually look better. I'd eat one of those too if I could!

(22,756 posts)I think a lot of us have put on a few pounds these past few months
sourdough is the best... I tried sourdough rye yesterday (freshly ground rye flour) but baked it too long so the chickens got it all

(4,246 posts)candles, baked goods, etc. from small sellers. It's more money but well worth the quality. I even bought some shortbread cookies off Ebay. They were delish.
When I make my banana nut bread, I use a 1/2 lb of butter, 8 ripe bananas, raw sugar, 1 lb of pecans, along with the flour, eggs, etc. - it's always delish, but definitely not cheap to make.
I love the name "MayinWinter". OK, now you have me craving cinnamon rolls.
I buy this "to die for" blueberry jam from a store in Maine - Stonewall Kitchen. The jar is filled with those little wild Maine blueberries. - beyond delish.
