3. We have a nest somewhere in our trees

We see and hear the parents but our trees are too high to even hope to locate the nests.

There's a resonance in a person's soul where they "connect" with a certain species of living thing. I had a friend who is now passed, and dogs might bark at her, but birds would land on her at random. She would kiss them and they would snuggle her.

It used to blow me away.

and he basically owned the feeder I had in my tree by my front porch. I learned how to do the Anna's Hummingbird call. If he wasn't at the feeder, I could 'call' him and he would fly right up to me. As long as he was in earshot, he would show up. He would hover in front of my face.

That was many years ago. That bird was amazing. I wish they lived a lot longer. I really miss that little guy.

I have had some special connections with some of my backyard animals too. But I didn't recognize it as it was happening. I miss those special critters.
