I'm just curious as to how long the process took. And what might be known about his back story.
It seems clear that he was abused before he got to the shelter. There must be a special hell for people who abuse animals.
What constantly blows me away about dogs is how, no matter how badly some other human has treated them, they are almost always willing to trust other humans. We hardly deserve them.
